The drop point style blade is very sharp and partially serrated. The 440 Black Anodize Stainless Steel blade passed all of our lab tests here at home base. It has held the same sharpness of the edge as when it came out of the box. The blade also sports a bullet cut out hole and inscription of “Always Read”. The handle has a solid state and does not budge under all shock and pressure it was exposed to. The aluminum alloy handle grip covers the steel inners and workings of the knife. The word Marines is written on the aluminum alloy handle and the Blade. The butt end of the handle has a glass breaker tip that is made of steel and can also be used to inflict a damaging force to something. It also sports a lanyard cord. In the event of an emergency, you can break a glass window to escape to safety. The spine of the green aluminum handle features a rigid edge so your thumb will not slip while using this knife.
