This authentically detailed dagger is a reproduction of the prop used by the Witch-king, the leader of the Ringwraiths, as featured in New Line Cinemas "The Lord of the Rings-The Fellowship of the Ring." United Cutlery, industry leader in fine movie reproductions, has meticulously recreated the actual prop under the direction of replica design supervisor Kit Rae. This officially licensed replica has been authentically "aged" and "battle worn" with a distressed, acid-etched finish to duplicate the original movie item as closely as possible. The blade is crafted from stainless steel, rather than the original props carbon steel, in order to guarantee that the replica will last a lifetime with little maintenance. The cross guard and pommel are cast metal and the grip features an "aged" genuine leather wrap. This item includes a 10" x 14 1/2" wood wall display plaque with a silkscreen design. Each replica is laser serial-numbered on the blade and marked with the appropriate copyrights to ensure authenticity.
