The blade is made from 440 stainless steel with black anodize finish which is great corrosion resistance. The black aluminum handle offers a unique design with a rugged finish offering great gripping power with a double reinforce steel wall. This knife however, does carry a liner locking system but it an axis technology closing. Just pull back on the black button on the side and close the blade. The closing requires no effort. The handle shape has a unique finger groove style while the back features an emergency glass breaker and a belt cutter. So if you are stuck, this is your life saver to break those glasses and cut those belts. The handle also sports a lanyard hole where you can hang this knife around your neck when going outdoors or responding to a rescue. The back of the handle also feature a black steel pocket clip.
